eligibility criteria

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Preference will be given to postgraduate degree in the field of Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sociology, Psychology and Social Work.
• Should be well acquainted with the local language.
• Must have teaching talent and knowledge of computers.
• Candidates can be selected from the open market for the post of FLCC Counsellor.
• Consultants should have good knowledge of banking, insurance, investment, pension, law, finance, requisite communication and team building skills etc.
• Experience: Must be an ex-banker with minimum 5 years of experience in any Nationalized Bank/RRB/Pvt. Edge.
• OR Individuals having minimum 5 years of experience in Banking/related sectors, NBFC/FI.
• OR Business Correspondent/BC-Coordinator with minimum 5 years of experience.
• OR Former RSETI Director/Faculty with minimum 5 years experience.
• Age: The maximum age at the time of appointment on contract should not exceed 64 years subject to good health.
• Resident: Must be a resident of the concerned state, preferably of the same district.

Salary/Stipend

• Consolidated remuneration per month Rs. will be. 25,000/-.
• Maximum Rs. 5,000/- per month for conveyance expenses on reimbursement basis (total Rs. 30,000/-).
• Reimbursement of conveyance expenses will be subject to the number of meetings/camps organized per month: Rs. Rs 3,000/- for organizing less than 10 camps per month. Rs 5,000/- for more than 10 camps per month.
• To be eligible for HA, the camp organized should be at least away from the FLCC center and no vehicle facility should be taken from the LDM/RO.
• No other allowance/reimbursement of expenses will be admissible.
• For service period of less than one month, payment will be made on pro-rata basis.
• Applicable statutory tax will be deducted by the paying authority.

selection process

• The selection process for FLC Counselor on contract basis for Uttara Kannada District – Sidhpur Center is as per the criteria mentioned in the notification.
• The appointment of consultants will be on contract basis and will not exceed one year.
• Subject to annual review, approval from the Regional Office and renewal of the contract subject to satisfactory performance, the contract may be extended by the Regional Office.
• The contractual appointment is purely on temporary basis and there will be no right to claim for regular appointment or continuous contractual appointment.
• The contract can be terminated by either party by giving one month’s notice.
• Renewal of contract may be possible at the discretion of the Bank as per extant policies and rules.
• For renewal of contract, the LDM or RSETI Director/Branch Head of the base branch will recommend renewal/non-renewal to the Zone, and the Zone will take the final decision.

General information/instructions

• Halting Allowance for FLCC Counselor is Rs. 300/- (if more than 8 hours without night rest) and Rs. Rs.600/- (if overnight stay) to be paid in addition to HA.
• FLC Counselor has to submit monthly visit diary of Financial Literacy Camps to RSETI Director/Lead Bank Manager (LDM)/Branch Head of Aadhaar Branch.
• The LDM/Base Branch Head is required to submit the monthly report (a copy to the Regional Office) to the Zonal Manager every month before payment of monthly remuneration.
• Zonal office will release the amount of monthly remuneration on verification of monthly visit diary of FLCC.
• The sanctioning authority for leave and out-of-pocket expenses will be the Director of RSETI where the FLCC is located; Where RSETI centers are not located/non-lead districts, the sanctioning authority will be the Lead District Manager/District Coordinator/Area Office.
• Zonal Manager will be the competent authority for renewal of contract of FLCC Counsellor.
• If the performance of the FLCC is not found satisfactory and/or for any other reason, the Regional Manager will issue a one month notice for closure/termination on the recommendation of the Regional Manager.
• FLCC may also issue one month’s notice to the Regional Manager/RSETI Director/LDM, a copy of which may also be given to the Regional Manager, if he wishes to close/terminate the contract.
