- Essential: PGDM/PGDBM/MBA or its equivalent from recognized university/college.
- Preferred: Expertise in Finance preferred.
- Preferred Certification: CFA
- Essential: Minimum 15 years of work experience in BFSI, out of which at least 5 years of work experience in Investment Banking/Investor Relations/Corporate Finance roles.
- Preferred: Experience in analyzing financial statements and ratios used in banking, preparing financial models and presentations and familiarity with various RBI and SEBI guidelines and capital markets would be preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in various office productivity tools including MS Office Suite. Apart from this the candidate should be proficient in written, communication and presentation skills.
Salary/Stipend
- Upto Rs.85.00 lakh (to be negotiated).
- Annual Increment – Up to 10% of CTC, subject to satisfactory performance.
- Fixed salary of 90% and variable salary of 10%.

General information/instructions
- The process of registration is completed only when the fee is deposited in the bank through online mode on or before the last date of fee payment/last date of online registration.
- Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the post(s) as on the date of eligibility.
- Candidates must upload all relevant documents including their biodata, ID proof, age proof, caste certificate, PWBD certificate (if applicable), educational qualification certification, experience details, biodata etc., otherwise their application/candidature will not be considered for shortlisting/interview.
- The process of short-listing will be provisional and without verification of original documents. When a candidate reports for interview (if called) his/her candidature will be subject to verification with original copy of all particulars/documents.
- If a candidate is called for interview and is found not to satisfy the eligibility criteria (age, educational qualification and experience etc.), he/she will neither be allowed to appear in the interview nor will he/she be entitled to reimbursement of any traveling expenses.
- Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website of the Bank https://sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings for details and updates (including list of shortlisted/selected candidates). Calls (letters/advice), where necessary, will be sent by e-mail only (no hard copy will be sent).
- All amendments/corrigendum (if any) will be made available on the Bank’s website only.
- If more than one candidate obtains the same marks as the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point) in the final merit list, such candidates will be ranked in descending order of merit according to their age.
- There is no need to send hard copy of the application and other documents to this office.
- Teaching and training experience will not be counted in eligibility.
- Mere fulfillment of the eligibility criteria (i.e. minimum essential qualifications and experience) will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, sufficient number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for interview will be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Candidates against whom there are adverse reports regarding character and antecedents, moral turpitude etc. are not eligible to apply for the post. If any such adverse orders/reports against the shortlisted/selected candidates are received by the Bank after their selection, their candidature/service will be summarily rejected.
- At the time of interview, the candidate will have to provide details regarding criminal cases, if any, pending against him/her. The Bank may also carry out independent verification including inter alia verification of police records etc. The Bank reserves the right to refuse appointment on the basis of such disclosure and/or independent verification.
- Candidates submitting false information/suppressing facts will be disqualified and will be subject to sanctions and legal/criminal action. Candidates who attempt fraud/impersonation will be debarred from future recruitment process conducted by the Bank
- Candidates serving in government/semi-government. offices, Nationalized Banks and Financial Institutions including Public Sector Undertakings and SBI Group Companies are advised to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer at the time of interview, failing which their candidature will not be considered and traveling expenses, if any, will not otherwise be admissible.
how to apply
- Candidates have to register themselves online through the link available on SBI website https://sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings and pay the application fee using Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card etc.
- Candidates should first scan their latest photograph and signature. The online application will not be registered unless the candidate uploads his/her photograph and signature as specified on the online registration page (under ‘How to upload documents’).
- Candidates should fill the application carefully. Once the application is completely filled, the candidate should submit it. In case candidates are not able to fill the application in one go, they can save the already entered information. When the information/application is saved, a provisional registration number and password is generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The candidate should note down the registration number and password. They can reopen the saved application using the registration number and password and edit the details if necessary. This facility to edit saved information will be available only three times. Once the application is completely filled, the candidate should submit it and proceed for online payment of fee.
- After registering online, candidates are advised to take a printout of the system generated online application forms.
- Candidates seeking age relaxation will have to submit copies of necessary certificates at the time of joining. No change in category of any candidate is allowed after registration of online application.
